Treasure

They'll try to hold you back
They will say your wrong
But they will never understand
The journey that your on

They'll try to change your mind
They'll try to change your heart
But they will never understand
Who you are
And you'll still believe
And you know, you must go

Where the dream takes you
Where your dream takes your heart
Where your heart longs to be
Your dream will lead your on
When you finally find that place
You'll find all you need
Where the dream takes you

There's something in your soul
That won't be denied
It's the faith to dream that keeps
The dream alive
So you'll still believe
And you know, you must go

Where the dream takes you
Where your dream takes your heart
Where your heart longs to be
Your dream will lead you on
When you finally find that place
You'll find all you need

Where the dream takes you…

Go where your heart is meant to be
And you may find somebody there
So won't you share your dream?

Where your dream takes your heart
Your dream will lead you on
When you finally find that place
You'll find all you need

Where the dream leads you
Your dream will lead you home
Where your eyes can see
Your dream will lead you on
There's a world that waits for you
Can neither hold
You'll find your home
Where the dream takes you

Where the dream takes you - Mya, Where dream takes you

This is one song which I discovered quite meaningful, totally go in line with what I have been talking about. This is one song which I think people should at least take a minute to listen to.

Whitney:
Many nights we prayed, with no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song, we barely understood
Now we are not afraid, although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long, before we knew we could

Chorus:
There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles, you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

Mariah:
In this time of fear, when prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds, too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here, my heart so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words, I'd never thought I'd say

Chorus:
There can be miracles, When you believe (When you believe)
Though hope is frail, It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles, You can achieve (You can achieve)
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

Bridge: (Both)
They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give into your fear
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see you way clear through the rain
A small but still resilient voice
Says help is very near

Chorus: (Both)
There can be miracles (miracles)
When you believe (When you believe)
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve (You can achieve)
When you believe
Somehow you will
Somehow you will
You will when you believe
You will when you, you will when you believe
Just believe, just believe
You will when you believe - Mariah Carey/Whitney Housten, When you believe

I'm not a big fan the 2 singers but nevertheless, this song also caught my attention. I used to think that this song is crap but nowadays, such songs do provoke my thoughts and emotions... wah.... I personally think that these songs can be treasures for people who are down at the moment and have nowhere to go or what (not meant to be religious here). I really believe that when you believe, you can achieve whatever miracles.... well.... let's improve on this: When you have faith in yourself, you can achieve whatever things you want.

Recently heard this story from my friend: There is this tightrope walker who carried his manager and walked the tightrope across the Niagara Fall... an dangerous act indeed. So when the people saw it, they can't believe their eyes. When asked after the feat, do they believe that the walker can carry anyone of them and walk the rope, everyone nodded their head. But when asked for a volunteer, no one dared. Moral of the story: Believing is knowing the walker carried his manager across the rope, faith is the manager.

Note: I'm talking about faith in a general sense.

So at the end of the day, treasure your faith and dreams. Treasure....
