A day worth blogging

Today, we had Turbo at East Coast Park.

We kayaked.

It was a fun and fulfilling day. It was a confusing first part for me though, when I found out that the meeting place was supposed to be at the ski place rather than the skating place. Had to walk a distance before I could really meet up with the rest of them. However, I wasn't that late also.

Then we went on to kayak. 12 of us, Ben, Ellson, Jan, me, SL, YA, ZZ, Flince, Guanrui, Edwin, Eugene, and the birthday boy Bowen. We actually got Bowen to cross a 'kayak raft' by foot before we began. And after we kayaked to the middle of the sea, we began to play 'capsize the kayak' when we started to grab everyone's kayak and try to capsize them. It was tiring, and rather than arms, my legs were tired, maybe because of my sitting posture.

After we kept the kayak (rain rain, supernatural raining down on me~), we buried Bowen in the sand, totally... well, can't get anything funnier, but anyway, we had to run to the hawker centre and we naively thought that we would be able to wash up there.... yeah right....

The rain came... to use a better word... the storm came. And it was cold. Imagine twelve guys, all soaked with sea water, kena cold wind blow, and cold rain... It was a lunch of curry, beef, and hot milo. The lunch went by. We eventually found time for a moment of sharing by Ben, who shared about the heart condition we should have. And the rain got smaller, but it got colder too. We walked in the rain to a wash up point... only to find that it was an opened shower area.... dun care, just take off our clothes (not clothings) and just showered... it was a time of great memory... and it became a time of great remembrance, a day worth blogging.

It was a good time of fellowship. I think the sharing on pure heart touched a lot of the brothers, including mine. All rounded up by the inspiring service about dynamic living. Hey, who says Christians have no life... we have life and we live more fulfilling than others. Amen!
