Terrible period

O LORD, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!

Many are saying of me,
"God will not deliver him."
Selah

But you are a shield around me, O LORD;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.

To the LORD I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill.
Selah

I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.

Arise, O LORD!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.

From the LORD comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.
Selah

- Psalm 3

I was reading Psalm just now as part of my QT routine, and came across Psalm 3. It was quite a reassurance from God. Particularly, because I'm still stucked with what Memento got to tell us about the study of history. Not that I have no idea, but the points are all jumbled up in the process and I can't find my starting point. Therefore I was feeling quite down and a bit terrible, although a bit of guitar PnW does help a bit. This psalm reminds that God is always there for me, and He will bring me deliverance from whatever confusion I have now on my paper, regardless how much difficulty is there in doing this paper and I actually want to finish the whole thing by Sunday, dun know if I am able to do so, as it is not my custom to finish my essay on the day of submission. But it's just like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, just keep playing and dun give up.
