Of Healer and Desert Song

I cannot start writing any thoughts of my own without posting up these few videos that I found:

Here are the lyrics:

Healer

Verse:
You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease

Pre-Chorus:
I trust in You
I trust in You

Chorus:
I believe You're my Healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You're my Portion
I believe You're more than enough for me
Jesus You're all I need

[Repeat Verse]

[Repeat Pre-Chorus}

[Chorus]

Bridge:
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands

Desert Song

Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon forged against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

Bridge:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be empited again
The seed I've recieved I will sow

I has been listening to these two songs for the past few days. Today, I went on Youtube and found these videos and I was shocked, especially for the Healer video. I was literally crying when I saw the video and saw the story behind the video.

I was looking at Mike Guglielmucci and was like 'wow'. That is worship. That is really God anointed worship. It really takes great courage to sing this song in his condition, and it takes great faith. Likewise for Jill McCloghry, whose premature baby died the night he was born. The songs that we sing in worship, it takes great courage and faith to proclaim and glorify the name of The LORD.

It reminds me of a year, when I first heard 'Blessed be Your Name' in a corporate prayer meet. That time I was experiencing a rough patch and it took me great strength to sing 'You gave and take away' and 'When the darkness closes in, Lord still I will say'.

Worship is praising and glorifying God regardless of circumstances.
